After dropping their second-straight SEC series of the season to Mississippi State, LSU has moved down from their No. 2 ranking.
The Tigers are No. 5 in the Top 25 polls across Baseball America, Perfect Game, D1 Baseball and Collegiate Baseball. USA Today coaches’ poll ranked the Tigers at No. 4 nationally.
LSU was ranked No. 1 across the board since the pre-season until the series loss versus Auburn.
The Tigers are now entering the final week of regular season play. LSU is currently placed second in the SEC Western Division.
With one final midweek game against McNeese and SEC series versus Georgia, LSU only has a few more opportunities to make their way back up the polls.
