LSU’s offense displayed a powerful impact with a lineup change from the norm during Friday night's game against Georgia.
In a strategic move, the Tigers rearranged their batting order by placing Dylan Crews in the leadoff position instead of Gavin Dugas.
Tommy White assumed the second spot, while Tre’ Morgan took on the role of the third batter. Hayden Travinski stepped up as the cleanup hitter, filling White's previous position.
Josh Pearson found himself in the lineup as right field, with normal right fielder -- Brayden Jobert as the designated hitter.
These lineup changes by LSU's coaching staff helped the Bayou Bengals bring in the 8-4 victory against the Bulldogs.
This is LSU's second victory in this series, they have officially won the series with one game remaining.
Ty Floyd was the Saturday night guy for the Tigers.
Here are Floyds stats from tonight:
7 IP, 7 K, 1 BB, 4 R, 5 H
LSU finally seemed to find some consistency from Floyd with him working seven innings.
Here's the scoring for LSU:
T4 - Beloso scores on Pearson's walk (2-1 UGA)
T4 - Jobert scores on Crews' single (2-2)
T4 - Thompson scores on White's sacrifice fly (3-2 LSU)

T5 - Jobert and Dugas both score on an RBI double from Pearson (6-2 LSU)
T6 - White solo homer to right field (7-2 LSU)
