Four LSU Baseball Players Earn All-SEC Honors

On Monday, in a vote cast by the 14 head coaches of the Southeastern Conference, four LSU baseball players were honored with All-Southeastern Conference recognition.
Centerfielder Dylan Crews was named SEC Player of the Year, made it to the First-Team All-SEC and also earned a spot on the SEC All-Defensive Team.
Paul Skenes a right-handed pitcher transfer, was honored as SEC Pitcher of the Year and made it to the First-Team All-SEC. Transfer from NC State, Tommy White, was also voted onto the First-Team All-SEC.
Freshman first baseman, Jared Jones, received Freshman All-SEC honors.
Crews currently sits at No. 2 in the nation in on-base percentage, No. 2 in runs scores and No. 3 in walks. Along with these statistics, Crews has a reached base streak of 59 games, which includes all 55 games of this season and 4 of last.
Skenes is currently No. 1 in the nation in strikeouts, strikeouts per nine innings (17.03), WHIP (0.75) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (10.93). He is also No. 3 nationally in hits allowed per nine innings (5.19) and is No. 4 in ERA.
White has 89 RBI this season, which is the sixth-highest in LSU history. He sits at No. 2 nationally in RBI per game (1.75), No. 2 in total RBI and No. 11 in slugging percentage (.793).
Jones, is hitting .307 on the season with 11 doubles, 14 homers and 45 RBI.
